Here are some great tasty snack ideas that are quick and easy to prepare:
For a Sweet tooth...
- Yoghurt Crunch: Take a small pot of yogurt and eat a few mouthfuls. Now fill it up with some granola or your favourite cereal and mix.
- Fruit & Nut Mix: Fill a bowl with a handful of almonds, sliced apple wedges and a handful of raisins
- Fruit With Nutella: Cut up some fresh seasonal fruit such as banana, pear, strawberry, kiwi or apple and dip into Nutella (sparingly!).
For Savoury Moments....
- Savoury Celery Sticks: Prepare some celery stalks, you can keep them long or cut shorter lengths and fill the middle with cream cheese or peanut butter.
- So Simple... Carrot, Pita, Hummus: Cut up some carrot sticks and one pita bread into slices. Dip in to hummus. mmm...
- Tomato Chutney & Cheese Topped Crackers: Take four wholegrain crackers and top with some cheddar cheese, sliced tomato and chutney relish.
